Welcome to our new website!

Welcome to online home of the Macon Bar Association. The Macon Bar Association traces its roots back almost 150 years, as lawyers in and around Macon, Georgia associated in the common principles of justice and equity. Since that time, the Macon Bar Association has grown to its present state, with over 400 members.

The Macon Bar Association is a voluntary membership organization which exists to assist  attorneys practicing in Macon, Georgia, enabling them to better protect the interests of their clients. The Macon Bar Association provides resources to its member attorneys in the form of informative meetings, reference material, and the camaradarie of social interaction and public service activities.

The Macon Bar Association issued a Resolution on September 7, 2007 in support of the need for a new courthouse in Bibb County.  To read that Resolution, click here.

The MBA Law Day Luncheon is on May 15, 2009.  The theme for this year is "Lincolns Bicentennial - A Legacy of Lincoln."  Our speaker will be Judge Richard Mills, a recognized expert on the life of President Lincoln as a lawyer.
